Rain Rain Go Away

It's Gon' Rain!
It's Gon' Rain!

Has Juneau Alaska became the rain capital of the world? Ever since Hannah and I got back from our vacatin in Washington it has just been either overcast, or rainy. It was really starting to get to me for a minute, but then I just started taking some viteman D and all is better.

I really am starting to miss the sun though. Last summer was kind of like this too. The first summer we spent here was great, but that was 3 years ago. Seattle Washington really has been unfairly called the rainiest place on earth thanks to a little movie called “Sleepless In Seattle“. I have lived in Washington for several years and it’s true it is rainy. But Seattle has nothing on Juneau for rain right now.

I do hope this is not a trend. Maybe it can be blamed on El NiƱo, or the butterfly affect.

Don’t Touch The Puck

Don’t Touch The Puck, is a silent horror movie made around 2000 by myself and some good friends. The movie was made for a collage class that that they where taking in Bellingham Washington. If you watch the short movie till the end you will be able to enjoy the blooper real that caught me by surprise the first time I saw the film. Enjoy!

Vacation – Part 2 of 2

City ScapeOn Wednesday, June 11th, Hannah and I went to see (the best band in the universe) Local H play in Seattle at the Chop Suey Club. We met up with our friends Abe, Kenny, Eric, Lyle, Dustin, Jason, and Doug.

We all shared a couple of pizzas before the show across the street from the venue. I realized I forgot my cammera and was kicking myself about it. Luckly for me, Lyle and Jason had their iPhones handy and they both did a great job snapping photos.

Vacation – Part 1 of 2

Two weeks of R&R has done both Hannah and I a world of good. Vacations are never long enough.

Hot Springs EffectFor the first part of our vacation Hannah’s folks took us on several hikes around the Olympic National Park in Washington State. We even spent a night at the Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort where we hung out in the mineral hot springs and had a BBQ. The hot springs felt so good after the hikes we took. Your skin is so soft for days and water just beads off of you.

We made a visit to the Olympic Game Farm where we got to see all kinds of animals. I was told that most of the animals staying at the game farm are animals that had been rescued from owners who could not take care of them or have been retied from use in movies. Animals like the bear would wave at you as you drove by.

During our two week Vacation we spent several nights with my mom and brother on Guemes Island just outside of Anacortes. This was really special to me because a year ago my mom and brother bought back, and moved into the house my Grandparents built on the Island. I had not had the chance to visit them in the house since they moved in. So this was really a cool visit to for me.

We talked, had a BBQ, and took lots of photos. Below are just a few I took.
